NZE EDOZIE U. OKAFOR – MANAGING DIRECTOR/CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER.
Nze Edozie Uche Okafor holds a Bachelors Degree in Marketing from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka. He joined U.O.O Group immediately after graduation in 1978, and had, since then served the Company in different capacities, including his previous appointment as the Group General Manager. He had equally served as Secretary to the Board for several years before his appointment as the Board Chairman in 2004. An astute industrialist, Nze Edozie U. Okafor is a member of various professional bodies, and a well known philanthropist. He is happily married with children
NZE NWANOLUE U. OKAFOR - EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
An astute industrialist, Nze Nwanolue Uche Okafor established the CASTARIO Brand, which, over the years, has remained a unique and exclusive fashion statement for men of distinction. He played leading roles in the establishment of most subsidiaries of the Group. He has travelled wide, across the globe & gathered quality experience which is now cultivated into U.O.O Group. He is married with children.
ICHIE NZEKUNIE NDUAGUBA - EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
IchieNduagubaNzekunie is one of the oldest founding member of the Company, having worked with the Founder (Chief NzedioranmaUche Okafor) for over forty years, before joining the Board as an Executive Director in 2004. He has been the driving force behind the Company’s business operations in the Eastern zone, especially Onitsha. He has gathered much experience through close association with the founder, in building construction and estate management. He is widely travelled and married with children.
MAZI OKECHUKWU UNEGBU - DIRECTOR
Mazi Unegbu is a Lawyer, Banker, and a Chartered Stockbroker of high repute. A past president of the Nigeria Institute of Bankers, he also at various times was the Managing Director/CEO of Citizens Bank and Progress Bank of Nigeria. Presently he is the Managing Director/CEO of Maxifund Investment & Securities Ltd. Mazi Unegbu is widely travelled and belong to various institutional bodies of repute. He is happily married with children.
GABRIEL NKANANG -DIRECTOR
Mr Nkanang holds a Masters Degree with specialisation in International Economic Relations from the University of Lagos. Prior to joining U.O.O Group, he had held various top management positions with different blue chip companies. Until his appointment to the Board, he was the Group Chief Operating Officer of the company from 2009 to 2015.
BARRISTER P.C. OKWUANYA - COMPANY SECRETARY/LEGAL ADVISER
Barrister Okwuaya has been in the Legal practice for well over 18 years. He is very knowledgeable in Company Law and Secretarial matters.
